The 7mm/270 Thread Reminded Me

that Hal Swigget loaned me his Dominator in 7mm 08. This was back in the 1980's. It had a 12" barrel and gave velocities running right with the .270 Winchester rifle. Hal had 10 loads that would group under 1" at 100 yards.

I never hunted with it but I shot it for a couple months before I gave it back to him. I never was attracted much to the single shots. They were wonderfully accurate but just never appealed to me.
