BLUE DOT IN HEAIER LOADS CAN BE TRICKY. SAVE IT FOR SOMETHING ELSE

Years ago Alliant stated no Blue Dot in the 41 Magnum, though never stated why, always figured it was a pressure problem.

The main powder I used for the 41 Special was Blue Dot with a Speer 200 grainer, never had any issues of any kind, but now I need to load some ammo for my Clements Custom 41 Blackhawk. Have messaged Alliant but no reply as of yet.

Your thoughts on this...should I use Blue Dot or try something else?? I have plenty of 231, as it is my go to for medium loads in several different calibers.
