I stopped by the local Gander Mountain today, just to see if they had any .22 ammo and walked by the used gun case. Normally it's just for a good laugh, but I didn't laugh when I saw this old Smith Model 38 no dash in like new condition for $249! Tried to talk them dall an a bit but he said they could t do anything I used guns. Figured it was a heck of a deal, so I bit! According to the serial number it's from '69 or '70. I don't think it's had more than a box of ammo put through it and it only had a small mark on the back strap.
