Formerly of Evansvill, In, but Tim is now out on AZ,I believe. It's a great can, but all stainless so a bitheVy. He makes the same can in titanium. I wish I would have saved up the extra money and body titanium one as it would've been a lot lighter. This one is good for up to 300 magnum and full auto. Most of the time my 300 blackout get shot with my F1 can which is a lot shorter and lighter but considerably louder.

Finn Aagaard once wrote a good article about his military (reply)

experience in Africa. They mostly used Enfields and Brens. He talked about a competition where they were given a certain amount of ammo to knock down targets, under time, with movement. He said they quickly learned to keep the Bren on semi. They enjoyed shooting against the fancier outfits with FALs because it was a lot of sound and fury, dust and targets left standing. Always did very well, since they were all 'farm boys' and grew up hunting in Africa.

Then...

One day they competed against a well-trained (British?) unit that knew how to use a semi-auto rifle AND sights... those guys stole their lunch.

Obvious lesson there.

I suspect that after a couple of fights those fellows with the Steyrs would have given their left gonads for something like a SCAR-H or G28 (neither of which existed at that time). It's hard to lay down suppressive fire during the "break contact" battle drill with a bolt action.
