Took my wife deer hunting one time long ago. We were by Fremont Lake out side of Pinedale, Wyoming. She spoted a herd of deer and alerted me but then ducked down inside of the truck so she did not have to see one of them get shot. However, it did not stop her from cooking that deer in all sorts of ways for for us the entire winter.

My boss went hunting last weekend and his wife went along just to camp out. She accompanied him to his box stand and sat behind him. When a big doe showed up with a youngun in tow he drew down on her. Just then he heard a small voice in his ear saying "don't you dare!" Nothing like having an extra conscience with you in the stand!
