Snubby K Frame (reply)

I'm guessing you are gonna wind up liking that little gun a lot. I have had one just like that for quite a few years. Not quite as easy to carry or conceal as a J-frame, but a darnsight easier to shoot. It was my wife's bedroom gun when I was working and on the road a lot.

For $300 that was a great snatch.

Snubby K Frame

Ive never owned a 2" K frame before, but corrected that today. I was delivering a Kydex holster I made to the local indoor range and walked by the uses counter. I spied a clean looking model 10 square butt with a 2" barrel. I asked to see it and the guy told me it had been there awhile and he could make me a pretty good deal on it. I figured you couldn't go wrong worh a like new (possibly unfired) 10-5 for $300! I looked it up in my SCoS&W when I got home and it looks like it was made in 1962, right around the same time as my 15-2. I squirted some oil in it and it got even smoother! Checked the single action pull on my Lyman digital gauge and it averaged out at 3 1/2 pounds. Very nice! Now, I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Not althe best pic, but I just snapped it in my truck to show off to a buddy!!
