any body ever shoot a para ordinance lda (reply)

I had one for quite a while and really liked it. My little brother liked it more so it ended up under his Christmas tree one year. I missed it enough that I now have the same gun in a 9mm. They are different for sure but I like them.

I tried a couple did not like the niether fish nor fowel (reply)

A friend had one for a while, I kind of thought the trigger was too light. I guess because it was long like a double action revolver, but light and broke like a single action revolver. As you said, fish nor fowl. I suppose I could have gotten used to it.

I just don't trust Para's. seen to many people with too many problems. One guy who's gun had literally spent more time at Para than at his house.

I bought one on Gunbroker's. The trigger, while certainly a short, smooth DA, also was reminiscent of a cap gun. Now, I'm a Philistine, to be sure, I'm also of the opinion that Dan Wesson revolvers feel like cap guns, so perhaps I'm not the best judge, but there you have it.

Down the road it went shortly thereafter.

I have a offer to trade from a gent. He is offering a para ordinance LDA carry 45 compact. Reviews I find are up and down, no real consensus.
Anyone here ever get any actual trigger time on one of these?
Looking for personal opinions please.
