I used buy those for .45 Colt before I started casting. That's before it was sold (I think to someone in...I think...Montana). Best cast bullets I've ever seen in my life and I've never cast a bullet that pretty no matter how much I've learned or tried over the years. I was highly impressed. I'd be tempted to buy them today simply because I don't have the time I did back then for casting.

I didn't know MBW was out of business. I am sorry to hear that.
I have been casting as much as I can but the last time I purchased (more than 1.5 years ago), I purchased Penn Bullets. He makes a quality bullet. It has been some time since I ordered from Penn Bullets but be careful. The bullet quality was great but the price I agreed to pay was not what I was charged. At that time, Penn Bullets would list a price and hide a market-type price bump (based on a percentage) in some notes section of the website. I thought that was pretty shady. Again, it has been awhile but business practices like that don't leave my memory.

Daniel operated out of Delta Junction for a good many years, he has since relocated to Montana. His bullets are some of the best I have ever used, he will adjust the BHN if you ask. He casts for a lot of "obsolete" calibers, and is just an all around great guy.

most of those i have used in the past, especially for unusual , less common items, are no longer there.

most recently montana bullet works did good work but he is closing down. got some from him in september and i think that is it.

who do you use ? who do you like ? what sources do you know?
