First up is a modern take on the bowie, with a hidden tang, nice blade but the handle gave me fits, the black walnut just didn’t want to take a finish. After several different type of finishes I gave up and just applied some polishing rouge on it, it is a little streaky on the finish in spots.

Drop Point Tactical, I tried to be a little fancy with the bottom front edges of the handles and it didn’t work out like I wanted nor the sides of the handles, they just wouldn’t smooth out, every time I tried it got worse, finally got it some what smooth but far from perfect.
