Finally got the munchkin out today to shoot his munchkin

Rifle. He did pretty good for his first time out (he turned 6 in June). He was pretty consistently hitting one fo those 5" cube foam targets at 25 feet. I am really pleased with how the cutdown Remington 510 turned out. I have Williams sights on it - much better than the bent metal strip junk you see these days. I pulled my favorite stunt to introduce a kid to shooting a 22 - a stinger on a full soda can. Quite memorable impact. Also let him try one shot with his momma's Bersa 22 - he though THAT was really powerful. I had to explain loud doesn't mean more powerful. Great afternoon with the kiddo!
