I was looking for a set of Ivory Grips for a square butt N frame and found these online. I took a gamble. the pictures looked like real ivory, and the guy said he thought they fit a N or k frame and they lined up well with his 629. The grips are unfinished, two sets are shaped and just need the screws drilled and final fitting. The third set is oversized and needs to be shaped and fitted. They are from the estate of Domingos Joaquim a former master engraver for S&W.

How they looked when I got them.

After cleaning with baby oil and OOOO steel wool. They cleaned up better than expected.

The oversized set. There may be enough extra material for some high relief carving, and I may be tempted to send them off and have someone do that. I am not sure what gun they will go on.

This set is a creamy white with very little figure. I will fit them to either a 4" 25-9 or 4" 24-3.

This set will be fitted to a 4" 29-2.
