It's actually a 3 incher -- US Post Office Inspector gun that was a special run of these Speed Sixes.8

After missing it for about a year, I located my 3 in. barrel stainless Speed Six hiding on the floor of a gun locker. It was in a black nylon Bianchi holster (an old Ranger model) and wearing black, round grip Packies. Laying facedown, it was invisible on a dark floor in bad lighting. (Think black cat in a coal mine at midnight.)

I put it back in a more visible area. Always considered it the thinking man's version of a snubbie.
