<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It's a tough go of it some days in the 'post graduate' department of parenting.  Several of John's buddies are in Marine Basic right now.  His sisters and younger brother are doing well looking after one another.  It was good to have them all under one roof on Christmas morning.</p>
<p>Hang in there.</p>
<p>I'm comforted that I really took the time to know and grow my son.  I know you did and do also.  It's still rough country that we're not going to understand in this world.</p>
<p>I have a daughter turning 24 this week, one turned 26 last week.  They'll get and an extra hug for sure.</p>

<title>I think of you all often and shed a tear now and then (reply)</title>
