They must be no larger than 1,000 by 1,000 pixels and 100 K maximum file size. The "upload" function is only available to registered users to keep folks from clogging our server with their junk. Non-registered users can still post pictures, as long as they host them on some photo hosting service and then use the img and /img tags in the appropriate [ and ] brackets to link to them.

To the right of the new message box click the "upload" button. A popup window should appear (you can allow popups at http://forum.sixshootercommunity.com as we will never use them for advertising purposes) and you can browse to where you saved the image on your hard drive and select the one you want.

Click "Upload" and wait for the confirmation that the image has uploaded. Close the popup and add any text, caption or whatever in front of or after the image code that will have appeared in the message box.

Select "OK- Submit" button. Your image should now appear in the message when folks click on it.
