<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yes I recently got a 48 with 6.5 inch barrel and really like that length.  Have TC 14 inch in 44 but that seems more like a sawed off rifle than a pistol...have 6.5 inch 44 FT Ruger 50th Anniv....but I shoot my Smith's more accurately for some reason...6 or 6.5 seems right to me...</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If the extra weight of the 29 or 629 wouldn't matter, why not? There certainly are more around in whatever dash you think is the best. I would load up special-like loads in the magnum cases, though, but that's just me. Since my thumbs can't take magnum loads in .430&quot; revolvers anyway, the special does it, and I'm happy I found my 624. I do like the 6.5&quot; barrel, too.</p>
